Masters of Education in Educational Leadership
Saint Leo University has developed the Online Masters of Education in Educational Leadership Program to meet the needs of working adults. The program has built a solid reputation in the educational community as a quality program that produces tomorrow's leaders in the classroom. Reflected in this concentration, along with the core curriculum, are the eight content areas of the Florida Educational Leadership core curriculum. These content areas are public school curriculum and instruction, organizational management and development, leadership skills, communication skills, technology, human resource management and development in education, education law, and education finance.A strong commitment to a set of core values is the cornerstone of Saint Leo University and its mission to offer a practical, effective model for life and leadership in a challenging world. Program Description: Saint Leo University's MEd program is taught entirely over the internet, and its design permits students to take up to two courses per eight-week term. Students may start the Saint Leo MEd program at any of six terms each year, and they can complete the 36 credits required for graduation in a little over 1 year. Students may also extend their studies for as long as five years.
Saint Leo University's National Educational Leadership Program is without licensure or certification. Those seeking state certification or licensure should consult their respective state certification or licensure agency to determine whether or not the program meets state and/or district requirements. Certification or licensure is a state function. Saint Leo University makes no guarantees on state certification or licensure eligibility.
